Political Engagement Advisor - Outbound Campaign

The Telemarketing Company is recruiting reliable and confident individuals to join our team for a short-term outbound calling project running from Wednesday 17th to Sunday 22nd of February.

This is a great opportunity for students on break or anyone looking for focused, short-term work with full-time hours across five consecutive days.

Project Dates
Wednesday 17th to Sunday 22nd of February

Hours available:
Wednesday to Friday 9am – 8pm
Saturday 9am – 5pm
Sunday 10am – 3pm

Salary: £12.60 per hour

The Role
You will be calling on behalf of a political party to encourage existing party members to vote. This is an outbound calling role focused on engagement and clear communication.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Making outbound calls to party members
• Encouraging and reminding members to vote
• Delivering key messages clearly and professionally
• Accurately recording call outcomes on internal systems
• Representing the campaign in a professional and respectful manner

A full briefing and guidance will be provided before the project begins.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for candidates who:

• Speak fluent English to a business level (essential)
• Have clear and confident telephone communication skills
• Are comfortable making outbound calls
• Can follow scripts and campaign guidelines accurately
• Are reliable and available for all project dates and hours
• Maintain a professional and neutral tone at all times

Previous call centre or telemarketing experience is helpful but not essential.

Types of Roles We Recruit For
We recruit for a variety of campaigns across different telemarketing areas, so your day-to-day work may include:

• Inbound Customer Service
• Outbound Sales & Lead Generation
• Claims Handling & Customer Support

Your role will depend on your experience, strengths, and the campaign available at the time.

What You’ll Typically Be Doing
Depending on the position, day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Speaking with customers by phone, email, or online channels
• Handling inbound enquiries or making outbound calls
• Building positive customer relationships
• Resolving queries and providing excellent service
• Accurately updating customer information on CRM systems
• Learning about products, services, and campaign requirements
• Working with your team leader for guidance and support when needed
• Full training is provided for all campaigns, along with ongoing coaching.

What We’re Looking For

• Confident communicators with a professional telephone manner
• Strong listeners who enjoy helping customers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced contact centre environment
• Motivated, reliable, and open to feedback and development

Experience in customer service, telesales, claims, or call centre work is helpful but not always essential.

Fluency in additional languages may be an advantage for some campaigns.
